Joan is a cradle Anglican and a PK (Preacher’s Kid). She was born in Victoria but only moved back 13 years ago. Since that time she has been particularly involved with refugee support work at the cathedral. Joan has also been involved in a number of cathedral ministries over the years including the prayer, healing and prayer shawl ministries, as a sidesperson, in the Server’s Guild, as a Eucharistic Minister, and helping with Sunday coffee hour. Joan also volunteered at events such as the bazaar, cathedral teas and garage sales.
She is honoured to have been asked to serve in leadership.
