This docu-drama series, 1491, creates a scientific and cultural narrative of Indigenous origins representing the authentic precontact history of the Americas.
The series is based on the book, 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus, by Charles C. Mann.
Episode themes including architecture, art, agriculture and the environment.
Join us for a Zoom session with filmmaker Barbara Hager, who will lead us through a discussion of one episode from her film, Governance and Trade (episode 5).
