Buzzing with activity

Chainsaws were buzzing May 15 as the first stage of the Friends' South Lawn beautification project got underway. Bartlett Tree Experts cut down the maple tree stump, added wire reinforcing to branches on the Garry oak and trimmed dead branches from high in the sequoia tree. The work was paid for by the Christ Church Cathedral Buildings Ltd. as a preliminary step to the work planned for the next year.
