Candlemas, on February 2, marks 40 days after the birth of Jesus and was the day that Mother Mary presented the baby to the temple for the first time.

This day is also traditionally the time when the candles for the year are blessed. This year, we will have three dancers from the Maple Leaf School of Russian Ballet help us dance in the lights.
