Legion projects receive support
Remembrance Illuminated donors help Poppy Fund

During the very popular Remembrance Illuminated event held in November 2019, we served hot chocolate and sweets inside the church, raising money for the Legion's good works. We were very pleased to pass along a cheque for $750 to the Victoria Poppy Fund, which supports initiatives such as Cockrell House for homeless vets. (Photo) Cathedral parishioner Michael Utgaard, who initiated the event, recently handed a cheque to Angus Stanfield at the Royal Canadian Legion Trafalgar/Pro Patria Branch.
