Join Christ Church Cathedral for a Pride Eucharist in collaboration with the parish of St John the Divine to rejoice in the fullness of love and diversity in God’s family. Regardless of how you identify, or how you relate to the divine, you are warmly invited to join us, knowing that all sexual orientations and gender identities will be affirmed and proudly celebrated.

Wednesday, June 26, 7pm at Christ Church Cathedral 

The service will feature guest preacher Rebecca Yeo. The Rev'd Canon Jeannine Friesen, Priest in Charge, will preside at the Eucharist. Mark McDonald,Assistant Director of Music, will be directing a pop-up choir (see details below!). The service will be in person and livestreamed. It will be followed by a reception with refreshments in the nave.

Sing in the Pride Pick-up Choir!

Calling all singers! 

We invite you to sing in our pick-up choir for the Pride Week Eucharist service on June 26 at 7.00pm. All singing abilities are welcome! 

Assistant Director of Music Mark McDonald will run a brief rehearsal at Christ Church Cathedral (Quadra at Courtney) on Monday June 24 from 7.00pm to 8.00pm to go over the music (some hymns, an anthem, and a simple mass setting). Copies of the music will be available in advance and the pick-up choir is open to all singers of any ability or affiliation. It's a fun a festive way to kick off Victoria's Pride Week!
