This month marks the 60th anniversary of the 1958 Springhill, Nova Scotia coal mine disaster that killed 75 miners. In response, Anglicans raised thousands of dollars to support the families. As a result, the church created the Primate's World Relief Fund (later adding the word "development"). Read more about the history HERE
