Despite pandemic restrictions, the Write for Rights 2020 campaign at Christ Church Cathedral set new records for the number of letters written!
This year 311 letters were penned by about 30 participants, letters of advocacy or support for persons wrongfully imprisoned or whose human rights had been grossly violated. Pictured here is organizer Susan MacRae weighing letters, combining envelopes to save on postage costs and applying stamps to the letters.
Sue writes, "A big thank you to every one who took part. I am proud of the team of letter writers who pulled together to seek justice and mercy."
